Job Description

• Participate in the planning and implementation of overall material management activities for medium and large projects
• Responsible for planning assistance and implementation of specialized materials management functions
• Deploying plans and policies for the operations of the material warehouse
• Develop a plan and establish an initial repository that establishes the IAW of the SOSi Iraqi Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Receiving, archiving, storing, and disseminating materials and supplies purchased by the site
• Developing Record of Differences (RODs) for all Main Goods procurement actions
• Confirm all procurement requirements (PR’s) for stockpiles; Enter and kill any PRs that are in stock
• Direct the development of all material management activities
• Provide general and direct supervision to the material management staff assigned to the project
• Carry out planning, purchasing, logistics and material management activities in accordance with SOSi Corporate policies and plans, policies and procedures.
• Maintain an understanding of the operations of the business unit and keep the project and office accountable for direct management of material issues.
• Other duties as directed

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience with at least three (3) years in Materials Management
• Bachelor degree
• Excellent leadership, decision making, communication and communication skills
• Good command of English
