Job Description
- Plan, organize, maintain and manage the process and operation of multiple Information Technology functional areas. Manage the activities of assigned program areas to include: planning, implementing, administering and evaluating projects and services perspective.
- Supervise administrative services professionals, paraprofesstionals and technical/support staff and perform both direct and indirect supervision through subordinates. Hire, evaluate, train, discipline and recommend dismissal of staff as necessary.
- Develop, recommend and administrate policies, procedure and process in support of Technology operations in assigned areas of responsibility; implement and monitor compliance with approved policies, procedures and process.
- Track and test new technologies and techniques. Establish procedures to support research and development activities to determine the suitability of new technology and procedures. Oversee the management of leases and purchased hardware and software.
