Job Description
- Responsible for all the sample development / sewing instructions / operator training
- Getting techpack form buyer to prepare collection (sample, fabric hanger, … ) presentation for new season
- Sourcing/ developing materials for quotation and sampling, negotiate price with suppliers
- Following up all sample status, mock up, costing until order commit
- Work with buyer for technical development, styling and sampling, complete tech sheet
- Working on labdip of both fabric /trims until bulk approval.
- Follow up and work with technical team/ production team / sample room for any issue to ensure the quality.
- Handling related sample development information. Making a reasonable sample plan and co-ordinate closely with factory to meet Buyer’s deadlines (from pre-production sample to shipment sample ).
- Sourcing and finding factory to place orders as well as new customers.
- Work with buyer and factory for factory audit if necessary
- Make plan with Factory Manager about production planning based on garment delivery date.
- Prepare tech-pack for bulk production.
- Work closely with Factory for all requested samples sending; during production process & till final shipment. Send sample to buyer to approval before start in bulk.
- Work with suppliers for ordering fabric
- Material & Accessories Controlling and Balancing / Compare with balance of factory
- Import/ Export documents checking/ preparing for Accountant
- Concern with QA/QC department to solve all problems during the garment in processing.
- Follow processing produce to ship on time
- Receive all order information from Head Office
- Follow up left over quantity of material at factories after final shipment
Working Location: Hanoi, Vietnam
Working Time: Monday to Friday
Job Requirements
- 4+ years at the same position in the apparel company
- Good at costings and fob products
- Fluent in English
